You’ve seen the apron.

Now meet the bloke behind it.

The Summer Entertainer’s Guide.

How to host without losing your mind.

This won’t make you a better person, just a better host.

Inside: a dead-simple summer menu, recipes you can prep ahead, what to pour, and how to get through the day without melting down (or forgetting the bread). It’s delicious food, drinks that hit, and a plan that actually works.

So, who is Jamie Fleming?

So, who is

Jamie Fleming?

Jamie grew up in Adelaide, where long lunches and local wine were part of the culture, and eating out was basically a family sport. His mum introduced him to restaurants early, and somewhere between the napkins and the noise, a lifelong obsession with food, drink, and proper hospitality kicked off.

His career started young, washing dishes and scrubbing floors in local restaurants before learning to pull beers while travelling and living through NZ. After pursuing a cocktail career in Sydney which brought experience in some of Australia’s best bars, Jamie was hit up for his first stint on Masterchef Australia.

Post production, Jamie continued his hospitality career through hatted kitchens, award winning cocktail bars and eventually, working as a luxury Spirits Ambassador representing some of the worlds biggest brands. This saw him travelling the country presenting and teaching some of the countries best how to apply culinary techniques to extract flavour like a chef.

After 6 years of teaching and building confidence, Jamie spread his wings and opened his own spot, Alba Bar & Deli – a Basque-inspired cocktail bar that, not-so-quietly, became one of Brisbane’s most respected industry hangouts. He picked up WSET wine creds, repped Australia in global cocktail comps, and somehow ended up elbow-deep in the MasterChef kitchen, again.

In 2025, he cooked his way into the Top 3 of MasterChef: Back to Win – a wildcard return to the spotlight, but far from the start of the story.

Now based between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, Jamie’s raising a family, co-running Spill Wine, and building content that’s equal parts smart, sharp, and unfiltered. From recipe videos to pop-ups and wine pairings with actual backbone, he’s here to help people cook better, drink smarter, and connect over food, without the wank.

I don’t send emails unless they’re worth opening.

Let’s work together.

I partner with brands, producers, tourism teams and event organisers who care about the details – flavour, craft, story, and how it all connects. If you’ve got something worth showing the world and want it brought to life with honesty and impact, I’m here for it.

From cooking shows to restaurants, to online publications, here’s where Jamie’s face (and food) have shown up lately.

TV Week, Qantas Magazine, Masterchef Australia 2014, Masterchef Back to Win 2025, Boothby, Paper Mache, Broadsheet, The Weekend Edition, Urban List, Campari Academy, Greg Goose, Visit Sunshine Coast, Queensland Tourism, NZ Tourism.

Spill Wine is Jamie and Clare’s love letter to drinking well.

Tucked into the hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, it’s part wine bar, part bottle shop. The wines come from small-batch producers, the seasonal snacks are built to share, and the vibe lands somewhere between local hangout and worth-the-trip weekender.
